Some more photos of The Cooking School.

Another shot of the large work table at the school.
A dresser laiden with china and a cool guy taking a gaze.

A woman after my own heart.......

A view into the main kitchen area.

A close up of the painting Lydia bought back from France.

Our visit to The Red Feather Inns new Cooking School.

Wow what a magic afternoon spent at the opening of The Red Feather Inn's new Cooking School. Everything was just perfect and the actual kitchen was just beautiful. Lydia the brain child behind this establishment who has not only come up with the whole concept but has styled everything you will see in the photos below.
Looking through the back veranda into the rear entrance of the boutique accommodation....simply beautiful. I will do another post and continue to show you more photos of this amazing property.

Their very cute promo car.

Lilly & Lulu coming to The Vintage Rose

Well we have decided to ramp things up a little in store and include a clothing line called Lilly&Lulu. It is a totally linen range with lovely long line tunics, 3/4 length pants, gorgeous flowing shirts and layered petticoats over floating dresses. All very suited to all ages but especially ladies between the ages of 35 and 40 plus. We are starting off with a small range of clothing and linens for the home but feel confident it will take off; should be in store within the fortnight just in time for Christmas barbeque's and functions.

Can't wait for pre Christmas functions and having our whole family at our home for a wholesome Christmas lunch in our barn. Thinking, thinking, thinking of all the decorations and things i can do to make it a special Christmas for everyone.

I have purchased a clothes rack exactly like this one for our new Lilly & Lulu range should look good with all the vintage coat hangers i have also collected.

This is the Nursery, Cafe and Gift store for the new Lilli & Lulu range 45 minutes from Melbourne; a total French Experience. I hope to travel there in the next couple of weeks to check it all out and maybe introduce the linen pumps and slides in their gorgeous shoe line. Keep you informed.

Here today gone tomorrow

This lovely dress form that i picked up from the Evandale market to house my new Cathy Penton Design charms has certainly done the trick, as they have all sold bar 3 in a bit over a day, wow amazing but not as amazing as the designer herself Cathy Penton of Simple Things Small Joys. We are now stocked with a large range of Est Australia soaps and body products; such a beautiful organic product and anyone that tries to duplicate what Caroline does doesnt quite cut it. I also have introduced a label of Christmas tags and cards by Ruby Victoria letter press which
is gorgeous and i will post you on soon. A close up of the dress form with the Cathy Penton charms.

A small cameo of some garden bits with the local artisan Chris Creeses bird wreaths....they have been selling great. I think he will be pleased.

Today we recieved a consignment French Farmhouse table and set of six chairs and by this afternoon it was sold to its now proud owner....congratulations to this owner. I love this table all set in not such a formal style.

Not easy to get a shot of our upstairs on suite and as you can see i am quite visible in the mirror, much to my disappointment . Anyway it gives you a rough idea; the shower is in a wooden cream lined cupboard like cubical with small Spanish marble tiles in a wheat colour....i love them.
A shot of our bedroom; a vase filled with red Pierre ronsard rose from our potager and a collection of vintage evening bags.

A dress form 'Stockman' in my workroom. Its so nice having this room sorted and tidy and as a result i will now work in there of an evening.

Some vintage coat hangers that i have collected.

Ya my workroom looking the tidiest it has ever been tell me what you all think!

Chloe's room probably went through a mini makeover the bedside coogans cupboard was painted with Porters lime wash PUTTY. Also a meat safe on the opposing wall has had the same treatment. A few canvas's were covered with french toile for some added texture. The Gustavian clock was added as well as the lamp and some altered bed linen.

Our hall armoire used for all our linens; great because it is in the centre of our home.

A still life on a rattan tray from Villa Maison which we sell in our store.
