Hi there everyone....sorry for the lack of posts lately but i have been busy with lots of projects. I have been making cushions, doing up furniture and collecting lots of interesting pieces for the store. They should be arriving within about 3 weeks; so excited. I will be posting lots of pictures for those that cant make it into store and also revealing the date of our Autumn champagne evening to launch all our new and interesting products. The chair above arrived to our store yesterday; its vintage leather and wing back design has huge appeal and already is attracting a lot of attention.....
Lots of warm winter throws for pulling over yourself on the couch on those chilly evenings ......
Lots of linen and purposeful products.....
And wow look at the 3 seater in this gorgeous vintage couch.....so comfy.

I would like to share some styling at home and ....
Introduce you to Neville our new addition to our home. I know what a lot of you are thinking out there......what is she doing or thinking ? I know its touchy having taxidermy animals on your walls and now, all the rage, skins on your floors; but you know what; it depends how its been done. This sparks a big debate; how do you know its been done in a humane way. Well let me tell you i know a lot of deer shooters from where i live and all of them are nice guys; yes its a sport, but also a necessity for the farmers to keep the numbers down on their farms so they don't become a pest and grow too much in numbers. I wasn't sure how i would feel about having Neville ( that's what we have called him) on our wall.....now i love and admire him for the beautiful animal he once was. Hope all you blogging friends aren't too crabby with me.
Styling this room was a challenge but i must say i love the masculinity of the room and so too does my husband; funny that.
A great place to sit by the fire and relax.
Colours and textures help build a room; place one thing in at a time, stand back and see if it looks right or not.
Fresh from the garden......
A collection of skittles etc.

Some hints of whats arriving soon in store....
Well it was a hectic time at the trade fair; but excited at the prospect of what will be arriving in store over the next couple of months. I have brought some amazing things; so all in all, very happy. Also happy to be back home around familiar people and places and back in my own bed....
This gorgeous Moroccan pottery will be new in store soon; beautiful and very tactile, in gorgeous muted tones.
Belgian linen string.....always handy.
This lamp is similar to one i have brought; i must say i have spent a lot on lighting this year. With a lot of my customers renovating instead of selling ; the prospect for updating to a more contemporary industrial look can be achieved very easily with the right lighting choices and with relative little expense.
Lots of linen in washed florals and fresh patterns arriving soon......Take care everyone and have a great weekend.xxx
