I cant wait to get the new clothes into store....

Its great when you get new items in store that you haven't had before...not only does it put a new slant on things but it creates new interests. This August we have a whole new range of hand loomed clothing arriving which isn't dissimilar to the photos that i have shown below which i have borrowed from my lovely Irene, from Valdirose. Don't you just adore the outside of this store below it definitely transports you to another place; and the interiors of the store are inspirational.

These tones of linen and cotton are great because they simply go with everything. The idea that you can create a look truly unique with simply one item, which you can layer either over black tights and a warmer woollen underlay top for the Autumn months maybe even a pair of black boots....or in summer a white pair of pants with a long line t.shirt with little pewter sandals or for a more casual look a pair of wheat colour sneakers. The choices are endless and this is what i hope to offer all my customers for August trading.

And coats well i am sorry but these are my weakness....between that and shoes. I just love the whole layering effect that the French are just so good at.

Goodbye for the weekend.....

The store, L'Atelier des Ours, is located in Uzés in southern France. Walking in the door, onto the sand floor, is an experience. One must visit to know.
