Introduce you to Neville our new addition to our home. I know what a lot of you are thinking out there......what is she doing or thinking ? I know its touchy having taxidermy animals on your walls and now, all the rage, skins on your floors; but you know what; it depends how its been done. This sparks a big debate; how do you know its been done in a humane way. Well let me tell you i know a lot of deer shooters from where i live and all of them are nice guys; yes its a sport, but also a necessity for the farmers to keep the numbers down on their farms so they don't become a pest and grow too much in numbers. I wasn't sure how i would feel about having Neville ( that's what we have called him) on our wall.....now i love and admire him for the beautiful animal he once was. Hope all you blogging friends aren't too crabby with me.
Styling this room was a challenge but i must say i love the masculinity of the room and so too does my husband; funny that.
A great place to sit by the fire and relax.
Colours and textures help build a room; place one thing in at a time, stand back and see if it looks right or not.
Fresh from the garden......
A collection of skittles etc.

Beautiful room. Love the old map mixed it with the pieces. I have my old Paris map on the wall and it is one of my favorites.
Neville looks right at home.
Neville rocks! x
