kitchens on my mind....

As we are well into fitting our kitchen with our new restoration project; i guess you could say i have kitchens on my mind. What colour to do the cupboards, what type of bench tops , handles and the decisions continue. What i love is that now there are so many options and i guess its all about making the right choices not only for the room but for the overall look of the home.
The oven is free standing stainless so i am thinking the cupboards would look good in a neutral muddy grey, with the door furniture in a pewter finish.
The bench tops i think i have decided on a combination of timber and stone. A muddy colour stone and dark timber island area.
Flooring well it could go either way....stained a dark chocolate or limed in pale stone. I think i will leave this decision to last and then decide.
I must say i do love these boards ........what to you all think? Take care.

HI Amanda can;t wait to see your finished house it will be amazing knowing what beautiful stock you have for your shop and your lovely home you lived in.....personally i like the lighter floor as it makes it all look more spacious, light and fresh whereas the dark colour closes it all in.....i also think the dark colours show more of any mess on the floor.....but i know whatever you decide will look stunning......

Hi Amanda,

Your ideas sound perfect, I don't think you will go wrong at all. I love the dark timber of the last image, it is a nice contrast if you go with paler cupboards...

By the way, I adore the beautiful garden with your previous post, very inspiring. Especially the chook shed!

Have a great week, Tammy
