I must say decorating from home has been a bit hit and miss this year as none of the family to be really into it. And i guess with me surrounded by Christmas in store when i get home....well you can guess, i tend to be a bit over the whole thing. I hate feeling like this but i guess i will get into the spirit of things soon.

I know EXACTLY what you mean...you decorate the shop for Christmas and feel like you are done...but you get home and realise that your home has no decorations at all. But I tried to change that today, I hung some fairy lights under the back verandah ready to light up each night. I also bought a faded wreath yesterday for the back door (why not? The front door has one, why not the back door where most people esp. family and friends come). Anyway, well done, I love your little tree with the shoe last for company and the big tree too. Also your "joy" sign. Absolutely wonderful. Happy times, take care...

Even though you may only have up a few decorations, they are beautiful! I especially love the JOY. :)
I know that feeling as I wen crazy decorating the shop hence I have adopted a minimal approach in the house this year using lots of fresh greenery.
