Rustic French

This particular style in the photos i have displayed is truly 'my style'. I love the rustic french look with a passion; its simple yet easy to live with and yet functional at the same time. A lot of people go for the modern clean lines because they believe it is easy to keep clean. I actually disagree i think if it has that worn weathered look it doesn't show the dirt like sleek clinical styles do.

Don't you love the armorer in the lime wash; truly beautiful in every way without being overly fussy with carving. Probably more likely a Gust avian piece rather than French. These photos are from Houston house. I hope you enjoy them as much as i have.

Ohhhhhh! It is so beautiful it is exactly the look I am wanting in our next and last! house. I wonder if my French Grandfather has influenced my love of all things simple French?

Amanda, they are gorgeous. I adore the rustic french style as it is something that you see a lot of in rural France. The locals take it for granted as it is normal for them.

I had some locals in the shop yesterday and they said that they have never though about framing old grain sacks so were verty taken with the one that I have framed above the fireplace.

Bon weekend,

Leeann

ps Let me know which of the burlap designs you prefer and I will put 2 of the cushion covers aside for you.

Hi Amanda,

Enjoy these pictures today, very classic, very gorgeous. I couldn't agree more, never a lover of modern sleek lines, at least with this style the more you use it the better looking it gets! Have a great weekend.
Take care.

Everything you just said was right. worn woods and sufaces and all the natural colours in this style of decorating is much eaiser to live with, especially for families.
